The honest footnote on safety

Closed models have central guardrails, which sounds reassuring until you learn those same filters sometimes block legitimate work (security researchers literally get refused when analyzing malware they're paid to dissect). Open models put you in control, with both the freedom and the responsibility that implies. For everyday household use, the practical takeaway is simpler: when someone warns you about "dangerous open models," ask who benefits from you believing that. Usually, it's the people selling the closed ones.
